3 J

Denis Jarmain is one of very few few male teachers. He is positive, enthusiastic and the children adore him. I photographed him at work in 3J and the children did their best to 'pretend I wasn't there!' The following week I showed my images to the kids, gave a little talk about 'my project' and photography and left a disposable film camera for them to document their day - it will be interesting to see what they come up with! I also asked for their help to choose a photo for my portfolio and a remarkable 80% choose the first picture below. The reason for this choice seemed to be "we are all in it!"(the picture)

I was a fly on the wall at the Monday afternoon Tai Chi class. Peter Chang the instructor has a special energy - its no wonder his class is often full.

Quite a challenge to look at everyday places with 'new eyes'. Camera in hand snapping away at random things that caught my eye. Perhaps next time I should concentrate on people

got me thinking and inspired to photograph my 'backyard' just where I am going to illegally exhibit - not sure yet - maybe on the side of the surf club ???

Into the woods

Flute, music and imagination in hand Caitlin age 9 and myself ventured to the bottom of the bush trail for some photographic fun. A passing bush walker thought that we must have been playing music to the fairies !
